We recommend using 1 gallon to help improve early/mild septic issues.

Every system is different. It may take a couple of weeks to a month, depending on the severity of the issue. Consider using Septic Liberator for the most extreme issues.

Yes, the treatment will work in both anaerobic and aerobic (with or without oxygen) environments.

Yes, provided you do not use the treatment with bleach, anti-bacterial soap, root killers or other chemical products.

No, it will not get rid of roots. We recommend looking for a root killer that does not use copper sulfate, as this is very hard on the bacteria in the septic system.

We've had mixed success treating cesspools.

Cold weather will slightly slow the results but the treatment will still work.

No, the tank does not need to be pumped prior to use. We recommend waiting until the water level in the septic tank has reached the outlet level if it has recently been emptied. This way, the product can flow out to the field rather than sitting in the tank.

Get the Most Out Of Your Bottle

We wanted to send you a few tips to get the best results from your Leach & Drain Field Blast

These are not requirements, but they will help speed up the process of improving your septic system.

  1. Stop pouring bleach, anti-bacterial soap or boiling water down your drains and toilets. Leach & Drain Field Blast contains billions of beneficial enzyme producing bacteria that can be harmed if they come into contact with substances like this. The fewer available bacteria, the less effective the product will be.
  2. If you've recently had your septic tank emptied, wait until the water level in the tank has reached the outlet. Adding the product to an empty tank will cause the bacteria to starve before it can reach the leach field.
  3. Consider diverting wastewater from a water softener away from the septic tank. A water softener increases the levels of sodium ions in the septic system, which will harm the beneficial bacteria in your system and in Leach & Drain Field Blast. An increase in sodium will also reduce soil absorption in the leach field which is what we are trying to fix.
