Septic Liberator Explained

We wanted to send you a few tips to get the best results from your Septic Liberator

These are not requirements, but they will help speed up the process of improving your septic system.

  1. Stop pouring bleach, anti-bacterial soap or boiling water down your drains and toilets. Septic Liberator contains trillions of beneficial enzyme producing bacteria that can be harmed if they come into contact with substances like this. The fewer available bacteria, the less effective the product will be.

  2. If you've recently had your septic tank emptied, wait until the water level in the tank has reached the outlet. Adding Septic Liberator to an empty tank will cause the bacteria to starve before it can reach the leach field.

  3. Consider diverting waste water from a water softener away from septic tank. A water softener increases the levels of sodium ions in the septic system, which will harm the beneficial bacteria in your system and in Septic Liberator. An increase in sodium will also reduce soil absorption in the leach field which is what we are trying to fix.
