Restore Septic Flow Through Failing Leach & Drain Fields

Septic Liberator is a highly concentrated treatment that uses bacteria and enzymes to break up waste, paper, fats, oils and grease, hair and bio-mat build-up.

Watch the video below to learn more.

The Problem: A Failing Leach/Drain Field

Bio-mat builds up in the leach lines and leach field over time, making it difficult for waste water to seep into the ground. This causes sewage odors, wet grass, slow draining and frequent septic tank pump-outs.

The Solution: Septic Liberator

You could replace the leach field, or you could use Septic Liberator instead. Trillions of bacteria and enzymes chop up and digest the bio-mat in the field.

The Result: Septic Flow Is Restored

Flow through the field is restored without having to dig saving thousands. Toilets will drain faster, sewage odors will disappear and wet grass will dry up.

How To Use It:

Septic Liberator can be added through a toilet, directly into the septic tank or into a distribution box if accessible.

Powder VS Liquid Septic Liberator

Septic Liberator comes in a powder and liquid form.  The powder is stronger but needs to be mixed in water prior to use, where as the liquid is ready to used.

What to Expect:

There are many factors that contribute to the time it will take before you start to see improvements after using Septic Liberator. This includes the age for your leach field, septic tank size, soil temperature etc. It can take weeks to months for the bacteria to resolve the issue in your system.

In some cases, you may need to treat your system multiple times over the span of several months. This may sound costly, but not when comparing it to the cost of replacing your leach bed. Please call us on 1 800 677 0517 if you would like to know if Septic Liberator will work for you.

How To Use (Liquid): Pour directly into the tank through the inspection/pump out port. Pour down the toilet if this is not possible.

How To Use (Powder):
Mix all 7.5 pounds of Septic Liberator with roughly 4 gallons of warm water, not hot. The powder will not dissolve, this is normal.

Let stand for ½ hour and mix every 5 to 10 minutes. This is very important and enables the bacteria to become active before being placed into the harsh septic environment.

Pour the mixture directly into the tank through the inspection/pump out port. Pour down the toilet if this is not possible.

For failing systems over 1,500 gallons double the above amounts.

Frequently Asked Questions❓

There are too many variables for us to guarantee this will work in all cases.

We have about an 80% success rate with this product. That success rate improves when we diagnose the problem correctly and when our customers understand that sometimes, more than one treatment is needed.

Contact us if you would like to find out if Septic Liberator can help your system.

We recommend starting with 1 treatment (7.5 lbs or 1 gallon) for septic tanks under 1,500 gallons of capacity. Treat the system again if the desired results are not met after 3 weeks.

Every system is different. It may take a couple of weeks to a month depending on the severity of the issue. The most extreme issues may take several months and require multiple treatments.

Yes, the treatment will work in both anaerobic and aerobic (with or without oxygen) environments.

Yes, provided you do not use the treatment with bleach, anti-bacterial soap, root killers or other chemical products.

No, Septic Liberator will not get rid of roots. We recommend looking for a root killer that does not use copper sulfate as this is very hard on the bacteria in the septic system.

Yes, Septic Liberator has added enzymes that will break down hair.

Yes, it can help break down the organic material in your cesspool and dry well.

Cold weather will slightly slow the results but the treatment will still work.

No, the tank does not need to be pumped prior to use. We recommend waiting until the water level in the septic tank has reached the outlet level if it has recently been emptied. This way Septic Liberator can flow out to the field rather than sitting in the tank.
